January, All at Once

January was a great month for us! We started off on the 4th with Tracy's graduation from the Austin Police Academy. Congrats, Officer Daddy! Gramma came down, Big Momma and Granna came up, and we dressed up for the event. Then, we enjoyed a celebratory dinner at Kerbey Lane afterward.

Over the weekend we trekked to Spider House to meet Espanol and his dad. Beanie posed with her new baby doll.
January 8th was Daddy's first day "on the street" and we were all very excited for him. Pook was especially proud!

After all the hubbub of holidays and APD graduation died down, the Tooth Fairy sent word that she was back in business. Unfortunately, the first night that Pookie put her tooth under her pillow, she didn't include a note. When she got up the next morning...the tooth was still there! The next night, Jan. 10th, she wrote a note and sure enough, she awoke to a gold coin! The next night, Pook woke up in the middle of the night and came into our room. She mumbled that there was something in her mouth and it was the second tooth! The Tooth Fairy was amazed!

Finally, we ended the month on the 26th with...Happy Birthday Daddy!
