Beanie’s class has been learning about frogs, snails, reptiles, etc. Recently, they took a trip to the Austin Nature Center, where they got to see several different types of reptiles and amphibians up close. Beanie has really enjoyed this unit. While she was playing in the back yard today, she came across a perfect snail specimen. Most snails would (should) cringe at the thought of being carried around by an adventurous six year old, but this one embraced her good fortune!
